Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week 2023

Copenhagen, Denmark | 25–28 September 2023

Since its first edition in 2000, the primary objective of the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (then “International Workshop on Feasibility of HVDC Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Farms”) has been to stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between industry and academia by providing a platform for discussion and for sharing ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues in the field of large-scale integration of renewable energies.

From 2011 to 2021, the Wind Integration Workshop has been conducted back to back with the Solar & Storage Integration Workshop. In 2022, the two Workshops merged to the Wind & Solar Integration Workshop (with Special Topics Sector Coupling & Storage) to take into account the many possible synergies and to meet the wishes of the participants.

The workshop will be held together with the 7th E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium as part of the Renewable Energy Grid Integration Week in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 26–28 September 2023.

7th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop
Faroe Islands | 23–24 May 2023

The main objective of the 7th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop is to discuss the challenges that arise in isolated and islanded power systems and micro-grids and how they can be efficiently met by deploying a combination of wind, solar, battery and diesel technologies. Finding viable combinations of conventional and renewable energy is one key solution for the efficient and sustainable running of these types of power systems.

International experts will convene for the 7th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop to share their project experiences and to detect areas in need of improvement.
