Travelling to Porto

Porto is the second-largest city in Portugal, located in the northwest of the country at the mouth of the Douro River.

Train

Porto is accessible via national and some international rail connections, usually involves at least one change in Spain.

The central station “Porto – São Bento” is located in the city center, while “Porto – Campanhã” serves as the main hub for long-distance trains.

  • Please check www.cp.pt for current schedules and routes.

Airplane

The international airport “Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro” (OPO) is located approximately 13 km north of downtown Porto and is well connected to the city center by metro and bus services.
